Today was a good day
A quick start, featuring working out and breakfast in front of the canadian superstore. Afterwards we checked in in our new and very 'pretty' hotel (when a junkie askes you for money and then tells you this neighbourhood is a bad depiction of canada, "so don't use it as a reference", you know you've hit the spot) and continued our road to the north. First we went to the Lynn suspension bridge, the bridge itself wasn´t that great, pretty cool to have seen it though. The forest and the river were much cooler though. After walking around and playing in the stream, we arrived at the "200 feet pool", supposably as deep. And then, the perfect opportunity to test the actioncam. A 15 feet jump in the "pool". The jump was exciting, the water was clear, perfect. The execution of the jump a little less though, as when I hit the water, the camera slipped off my head while hitting the icy cold, and then I mean icy cold, panic struck. 200 feet is a long way down:( A very friendly guy offered to go get it and so he did. What an awesome guy! As I got my camera back (with a very cool video) and the guy asked if I would do the 25 feet drop, ofcourse I agreed. It was scary but very awesome, still a bit in shock we went on our way, a long walk through the beautiful forest got us back to our car to continue on to Whistler. And what a nice decision it was! Beautiful roads, astounding lakes, georgeous mountains and even a bloody waterfall from up close, it was magnificent. An 8 hour drive home of dodging ravines and deer was tiring, but on the upside it guaranteed a good night sleep
