Same morning routine, different day. We went into San Fransisco, for the first time since we came there half a week ago! First stop, mall. Everything I already thought was semi normal, the three newbies had to see for themselves, including the "cheap" shopping. Turned out we had the wrong mall, a really fancy one, because nothing was on sale so nothing was very cheap, food was very good though, so I was happy! The day wasn't over yet though, so, after being told we couldn't go to alcatraz for the next three weeks, we went to pier 39, it seemed pretty basic, just a normal pier, until we saw the pier was a bit bigger than expected. It was about the size of a mall, but outside, for the biggest part drenched in Alcatraz themes. Here we also tasted a very hurtful hot sauce, it was just retarded, it was litterally agonizing, so that was fun! We thought this was a nice sign to go on to the Golden Gate bridge. After passing the bridge and making a couple of wrong turns we finally got on the mountain for a nice overlook. It was a nice sight, the weather not so much, a lot of fog, clouds and winds. So we made the (mental) pictures and went on our way! After a quick visit to the goldengate park and its windmill, we got some pizzas, whilst drinking heavily. Eating back at the hotel en a shitfaced Jelle almost ruining the room were the conclusions of the day.
