Last day of our camaro roadtrip, so we made it a big one! We started down the 101, a nice trip, but then... The california 1. From the moment I entered I fell in love. Welll not exactly from that monent, a goddamn prius was in the way, god I hate priuses. But after a couple of minutes it went asside on a turnout lane and we went cruising! What bizarre fun. A long windy road up through a forest up the mountain. Max speed; 55, achieved speed; 40. Curve after curve, with the occational hairpin, just awesome and this was just the start. After one and a half hours we cleared the forest and arrived at the coast. Even after everything we had seen it was still a breathtaking sight, we were exactly on an outer bend, so we could see along the coast both ways for hundreds of miles! And so it went on for ours, long winding roads along the coast and through cute little villages! And then as a finishing touch, mountains. What do mountains mean? More curves. What do more curves mean? More fun. And what fun I had, I got used to the car, but not used to the feeling and view of this road. It was the most fun I ever had in a car, even high on the list of most fun ever! But each moment comes to an end. So after enjoying the last couple of bends to their full extend, the 1 sadly ended. Goodbye, my friend it was one hell of a five ours... The remainder of the road I sat out, because I was completely worn out, and wasn't that interesting anymore. Seeying San Fransisco appear on the horizon was a pretty sight, but our route steered clear of a good view. We arrived in Oakland and I fell asleep like a log.
